I need to thank you.
I am a firm believer that we all meet for a reason. Three years ago I never would have imagined that you would come to one day save my life. I had hit my all time low and the strength of my moral fabric had been stretched and warped beyond any realm of normal limitations. I laid in bed, ready to give up, ready to throw the towel in. I believed I couldn't make it, I believed I had no impact on others, and most of all, I believed that I no longer served a purpose on this earth.
Ray, you saved my life. Your words of wisdom are a reminder to each and every individual person who has come into contact with your path that we all have a choice on this earth. Life is about making things happen. Oneself is ultimately in control of their happiness and the outcome of their life. Some people go through the motions and live without ever really learning anything, thereby making their short stint on earth meaningless and wasted. And then there are those in pursuit of truth and rising above, beyond... figuring out what life is really about.. those who REALLY live. You have reminded me of the strength in which lies within that drives us forward. I am so much stronger than I gave myself credit and I feel I came to realize this partially because of you. Life is going to be amazing because I am going to make it so. And I have been reminded in the words I read on your page. I really felt like I needed to tell you that I am living proof that no matter where you are at in the world, what your social status is, occupation, gender, age, race..... we are all one in the same and united by one commonality and being in tune with ourselves. There has been and there will be many people that you will meet in your walk of life, and I can honestly say that when I began working with Ray Wallen back in 2006 I never would of thought that we would still be close friends today. I wanted to thank you for your positive support and inspiration. Sometimes during my day I will start getting bummed out or stressed. I will catch myself trying to hold on to negative thoughts from time to time. It is my new enlightenment learned from TWP that allows me to let go of thought. Becoming more self aware is only a matter of practice now. It is this practice of positive living that teaches us all that life is extremely precious. To enjoy it, to share it! Ray Wallen came into my life at a very significant time, I had just been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Skin Cancer for a second time in two and a half years. I knew from the short interaction I had with him, that Ray was a pretty amazing guy and had an incredible outlook on life, one that we both share but I could have never imagined what was to come of my friendship with Ray in the near future. I trusted Ray when he said it was all gonna work out but never did I anticipate how quickly it was going to happen! Ray has been such an incredible, positive force in my life and I am so very grateful to have him in my life. He doesn’t just leave you with an opinion but yet he gets you to think about things in a different light and challenge yourself. I can't begin to tell you all what an incredible gift it is to have a positive person there for you, not just for advice but there to help you personally grow as a person as well. Cancer stinks but I believe that it was brought into my life again for a reason, whether it be to personally grow and learn something my experience, to bring knowledge to others about skin cancer and perhaps even save somebody from what I am going through with early detection but I do know that my cancer has brought Ray into my life and this is all part of something much bigger!!! Every day I look forward to growing personally and to see what new, exciting things are going to be created. I cant wait to see where The Wallen Phenomenon soars to, because it will! For all of you guys that are skeptical of what it’s really about, take it from me- this is the real deal!!!! You want to live an incredible life? Stop waiting, this is it!
